Socious Gets into the Holiday Spirit with a Local Gift Drive

The gifts piled up for weeks. For a while, they even stretched out along the wall.

But while the gifts were under one of our several office Christmas trees, they weren’t for anyone here at Socious. They were for children in our community.

The presents were part of our holiday gift drive for families in need, something that’s become an annual event at Socious. 2016 is the third year we’ve held the gift drive, with the past two years’ gifts going to a single family in need.

We not only provided a family with gifts, but with essentials as well. That meant collecting and purchasing everything from toys for children to appliances and beds, all of which was delivered to the family we were sponsoring before the holidays.

Socious Gets Ready for Thanksgiving with a Local Food Drive

Team Stuffington is in the lead.

We’re not sure exactly how much food they’ve collected thus far, but they’re a mile ahead of our other office teams. Those of us who aren’t part of Team Stuffington aren’t too worried, though. We expect a surge of donations near the end of the food drive.

Our annual Socious food drive started just last year and has quickly become a tradition that brings our office together even more so than our usual culture-building activities. It’s our way of getting ahead of the curve to give back to our community before Thanksgiving.

Socious Event Manager, Erica Allen, has been honored as February’s Member of the Month by the Arizona chapter of Meeting Professionals International (AZMPI). AZMPI is a professional association dedicated to support and continuing education for meeting planners and event managers in Arizona. They provide professional resources, as well as several in-person events throughout the year.

Socious CEO Interviewed About Company Growth and Expanded Headquarters in Mesa

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix is a welcoming “home away from home” for families with children facing medical challenges, providing an atmosphere of comfort, hope and courage.

Socious Building Community at the Ballpark
