Socious is a leading provider of online community software for businesses, associations, and user groups. We have served the association and nonprofit community since Socious's founding in 2002. Today, Socious helps organizations manage over one million members or customers.
Though Socious has been the number one provider of online community planning tips and advice for associations for many years, association executives can now earn CAE credit for attending qualifying Socious events and webinars.
What is the CAE Program?
CAE stands for Certified Association Executive. It is a designation awarded by ASAE and The Center for Association Leadership after candidates “demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of association management.”
While Socious’s educational events have offered opportunities to earn CAE hours in the past, ASAE recently switched their process to award approval to certain organizations in the association community that meet their criteria. Socious is now on that list!
Socious, a leader in online community software for associations and membership organizations, is teaming up with ACGI Software, the trusted leader in association management software (AMS), to co-hosting a webinar for association executives on how to generate non-dues revenue with private online member communities.
Scheduled for 1:30 PM ET, Thursday, October 24, registration for the webinar “Five Ways to Increase Non-Dues Revenue Using Your Private Online Community and AMS,” is free.
Joshua Paul, senior director of strategy at Socious, will be the featured speaker for the webinar, which will be moderated by Arj Devadas, ACGI Software’s vice president of sales and marketing.
What Will You Learn?
During the one-hour session, attendees will gain insight into ways Socious customers have been successfully growing non-dues revenue through their online communities (aka, private social networks).
In addition to taking questions from attendees, topics covered will include:
- How online communities drive revenue

- How to test, measure, and optimize your community for non-dues revenue generation
- What works – lessons learned from Socious
How to Register
You can learn more and register for the webinar on the ACGI Software website.
There is a common question we get from association executives every year at this time:
Association executives and nonprofit leaders can be very good at what they do. This includes organizational culture, education, events, membership management, and fiscal matters.
Socious marketing executive, Joshua Paul, will discuss managing private social networks and online communities during a session at the ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership’s Technology Conference & Expo on December 6th at 10:15 a.m. ET.
